“James May’s uncle wears a blue hat and says some history.” – James
Our historic tour sponsored by LSE took us through the layers of years of the (relatively?) new academic campus and storied neighbouhood. Highlights included hilariously obvious observations by Uncle May, historical tidbits, and Sweeney Todd’s shop next to Miss Lovett’s Meat Pies.
Fun was had and Chip managed to remain with the tour group despite lacking proper school ID. A proud nautical tradition notwithstanding, LSE Tours* does not run a tight ship.
*Actual tour provided compliments of a registered professional Blue Badge (and hat, in some cases) Tour Guide, and it was really quite lovely.
